Wreckfest 2 | Content Update #06
Wreckfest 2 continues to expand in Early Access. Developer Bugbear Entertainment has released Content Update #06, bringing new vehicles, a fresh track and several gameplay improvements.
The update expands the garage with three additions. Players can now drive the Hurricane, a powerful American muscle machine built for aggressive racing and heavy collisions. Joining it is the Nami, a Japanese coupe, along with a rather unusual special vehicle — the School Bus, perfect for chaotic demolition derby moments.
A new track called Dalsbanen has also been introduced. The course is designed for unpredictable races where both driving skill and vehicle durability play a crucial role.
One of the biggest gameplay additions is the new Waypoint Race Mode. Instead of traditional lap racing, players must pass through sequential checkpoints across the track, encouraging more tactical driving and route planning.
Content Update #06 also introduces several major gameplay features and improvements, including:
- Car upgrades with performance metrics
- Adjustable differential, suspension and gearbox
- Multiplayer Cup Voting
- New first-person camera options
- Dirt accumulation on vehicles
- Improved collisions and damage
The update also adds eight new challenges and introduces multiplayer vehicle restrictions to improve competitive balance.
Wreckfest 2 is currently available in Early Access, with developers planning regular updates that will continue adding cars, tracks and new gameplay systems.
